Children in grades K-12 are invited to create an original video or poster that highlights how composting minimizes climate change.
First Place Poster Winners will receive a $25 Downtown Middletown Gift Certificate and posters will be displayed on Middletown Area Transit buses.
First Place Video Winners will receive a $25 Downtown Middletown Gift Certificate and videos will be posted on the City of Middletown website and social media and on the Comcast public access channel 19.
All Second Place Winners will receive a $25 gift certificate towards Middletown Recreation programming.
All posters will be on display at Russell Library.

Individuals or groups of four or less are encouraged to participate. If you work with a classroom, afterschool program or community group and would like to have a presentation on composting to inspire young artists, contact the Middletown Recycling Coordinator at Recycling@MiddletownCT.Gov.
