Leaf Collection

Middletown Fall Leaf Collection

The City of Middletown collects leaves curbside from the end of October to early December.  During this time, curbside bulk waste pick ups and brush pick ups are suspended.

Leaves should be raked to the curb or placed in paper leaf bags.  Leaves will not be collected if they are put in plastic bags. Only leaves should be at the curb.  Leaves should not be mixed with grass, brush, or any other materials.

City crews circulate through more than once.  Understandably, leaves don't fall all at the same time.  So if you don't have them raked out when they first come through, weather permitting, they will be back.

If you don't want your leaves sitting at your curb, you can bring them directly to the Middletown Recycling Center for no charge.   Leaves are accepted loose or in paper bags there as well.
