Project SummaryRiverbend_Map-2-01

The Return to the Riverbend campaign will result in a long-term master plan that guides future growth and development of Middletown’s riverfront.

The master plan will include recommendations for future land use, flood protection, transportation improvements and community benefits in a study area stretching from Harbor Park to the Rushford Center, as illustrated on the map to the right.

Preliminary Design Concepts

We have used your input and feedback from the community meetings, surveys, and other comments to develop preliminary design concepts for each of the master plan's four riverfront districts. (Riverside, Sumner Creek, The Hilltop and South End Districts).

The illustrations shown below do not represent final plans for the Riverfront. They are illustrations of planning concepts which reflect the majority of the Community’s input we have received so far.
