The City of Middletown Commission on the Arts has officially opened the call for nominations for the next City of Middletown Poet Laureate. 

The appointed position serves as a creative platform to bring forth the voice of poetry and literature in our city. To learn more about the process of nominating, visit here for the application and guidelines. 

Deadline for submissions is August 30, 2024. 

Submitted applications will be reviewed by a panel of community members and MCA Commissioners. The review process includes an interview. Selection and announcement will be made in October 2024. Nominees must be at least 18 years of age at the time of their appointment.
