Arts & Culture Matching Funds Grant Program
The City of Middletown Commission on the Arts (MCA) is proud of support public funding opportunities in the Arts & Culture. The MCA welcomes grant applications from organizations, businesses & individuals with proposals of art & culture related programs, events or activities that enrich the lives of Middletown residents. MCA funded programs and projects include but are not limited to art & culture specific projects in:
Dance
Music
Theater
Visual Arts
Design Arts
Crafts
Photography
Media
Literature
Folk Life/Traditional Arts
and the Humanities
The MCA is particularly interested in proposals that reach the city’s children and youth population as well as residents in all of the community’s diversity. Creatives are encouraged to design and implement community art & culture related programming that promotes and fosters an audience of art appreciators, community engagements and cultural learning experiences. All programs must take place in the city of Middletown.
YOUTH CREATIVES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY!
It’s time to bring your ideas to the MCA! The MCA is interested in receiving youth proposals that exhibits an appreciation of art, explores relationships with art and self-expression, exhibits leadership skills and establishes & strengthens organizational skills. Youth applicants must be either a Middletown youth resident or a homeschooler/student of a Middletown school and must be represented by an adult adviser, mentor, parent or guardian.
