As Deputy General Counsel for the City, Attorney Wisneski handles, oversees, and collaborates on all City legal affairs including litigation, labor and employment matters, contract review and negotiation, FOIA requests and responses, tax appeals, zoning appeals, development, and the drafting of legal opinions. Before joining City service, Attorney Wisneski worked for Robinson & Cole LLP in Hartford, Connecticut where she focused her practice on complex litigation matters in state and federal courts working on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.
While attending law school, Ms. Wisneski was a judicial intern in the chambers of Unites States District Court Judge Janet C. Hall and also interned in the US Attorney’s Office in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She has past experience as an adjunct faculty member for the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she taught the class, Lawyering Process.
Attorney Wisneski is a
summa cum laude graduate of Quinnipiac University School of Law, where she served as Publication Editor of the Law Review, and received her B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross in Economics. She is a Middletown native and continues to live in Middletown with her husband, Eamonn, and two children, Jack and Zoë.
