    Come to the new Rec center (140 Wilderman's Way, Middletown, CT) and learn about comic book style basics, experiment with some silly, creative activities, and begin learning how to make your own comic book or graphic-novel style story. You can bring your own ideas, or brainstorm when you get there! This is a flexible event-- you don't have to show up right at 3 or stay until 4:30. You can come and go as you wish. The activities we have planned are aimed at ages 10 - 14 years old Registration is required and space is limited, so please sign up below! (If you need a ride home from the Recretion center to somewhere in Middletown to attend this program, we can help!     Join us as the City of Middletown's Health Department gives a Narcan training in an effort to decrease opioid fatalies and increase its availibility in our community. In this training you will learn: - Signs & symptoms of an opioid overdose. - What Narcan is and how to administer it. - Good Samaritan Laws. - Local resources and support. *Participants will receive a certificate of completion for Narcan Training. We will also be providing FREE Narcan and educational materials. Registration is required for this event and seating is limited, secure your spot today!
