Enjoy fun and lively activities virtually with other older adults, you know, folks of a certain age!! This exciting Eat Smart, Live Strong series will help with tips easy ways to make smart food choices and to exercise more. Learn how you can Eat Smart and Live Strong. Each session in Eat Smart, Live Strong focuses on changing behavior by learning, planning and practicing new skills. A series of 4 weekly classes will focus on goal setting, making small changes, problem solving and spending less. Each session will be 45-60 minutes. Materials can be picked up at the library, curbside, or sent electronically. The packets include forms that can be used to track your progress. Materials are also available in Spanish. A few special extras are included in each program bag!
Part 4 of this program includes exercies, more on healthy eating, AND, ways to say money when you shop for nutritious foods.

Ready, Set, Go! Join us for a storytime journey where we will explore all things that move! Cars, trains, airplanes and more! We will read the story “Who is Driving?” by Leo Timmers and zoom around together on Zoom!
Pick up supplies to make a cool car craft! (Limit 2 kits per household).
This virtual program is for children ages birth-6.
Registration is required.
We have a limited number of supply kits which will need to be picked up at the Russell Library prior to the online event. If you sign up for a kit after you register a librarian will email you to confirm your supply kits are ready for you at the desk! After you hear from us you can:
Pick your kit up during library operating hours (Monday-Saturday: 9-5pm) or
Call us at 860-347-2528 and set up a curbside appointment!
