In 2025 the City of Middletown Arts & Culture Office will facilitate a pilot program to incentivize and connect Middletown artist of the creative sector in the City of Middletown.

The intent of the eight-part Professional Development series program is to:

1.    Introduce and/or re-introduce resident artists of Middletown to each other.

2.    Provide a neutral space for artists to engage through collaborative play, community building, and sharing of ideas.

3.    Introduce Middletown resident artists, creatives, musicians, visual artists, and writers to shared methods that may spark their creativity.

4.    To provide a series of no-cost Professional Development offerings for Middletown resident artists.

Registration is limited to 25 Middletown resident artists and creatives who are interested in building community with other resident artists through a series of creative gatherings. These events are made possible through support from the City of Middletown and the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
