Spirit Voices: A Program of Choral Music, Dance, and Storytelling
Join us for an amazing program of storytelling, choral music, and dance, and poetry put together by the Classical Studies Dept, in conjunction with the Mnemosyne Arts Collective, and Ekklesia Contemporary Ballet.

Hear our storytellers weave together poetry, myth, and magic -- from the tales of Demeter and Persephone, to comical curses and secret instructions for finding Heaven, buried in ancient Greek graves -- with extraordinary music from Gjeilo, Schütz, Hovland - even Paul Simon, and original choreography by Ekklesia Contemporary Ballet.

Suitable for all ages, Admission is FREE, no tickets are required.

Curious about Greek mythology?
Stick around for a post-concert Q&A/ Talk Back about Greek mythology, the Underworld, and how it echoes in Early Christian traditions, with Prof. Kate Birney, Wesleyan Classical Studies Dept.
