Municipal Arts Grant Q&A

The Q&A is designed to provide potential applicants with a general overview of the Municipal Arts Grant Award program guidelines, grant giving policies and procedures. The intent of the Municipal Arts Grant Award program is to provide eligible applicants with funding support for arts and cultural projects, events, and activities that benefit Middletown residents.

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Types of Grants

GENERAL OPERATING SUPPORT (GOS): funding support greater than $5,000 toward the general operations of a non-profit arts organization. Only nonprofit organizations may apply for GOS. Deadline to apply is the second Monday of January, 2025. 

PROJECT SUPPORT GRANT (PSG): funding support in an amount up to $7,999 toward an art and/or cultural related project by an organization, business, or individual/group. Deadline to apply is the second Monday of September 2024 for projects with a start date after December 31st, 2024, and the second Monday of January 2025 for projects with a start date after April 1st, 2025.
