Composting Is Happening!  

We have several composting events come up this fall!   We are planning a Composting Workshop this Saturday, Sept. 23 at 10 a.m. at the City's Compost Bin Garden, 131 River Road, next to Reboot Eco.  UConn Master Composters will be on site to explain how to compost and answer all your questions.  Please note, if this event is cancelled due to the weather it will be posted on our facebook page.    

A second Backyard Composting 101 workshop is being offered virtually through Russell Library on October 18 at 6:30 p.m.  Sign up on Russell Library's event webpage. 

Both of these events are being offered prior to the pick up day for our Community Compost Bin and Rain Barrel sale.   Orders must be placed by Oct. 20 and orders can be picked up on Oct. 22 in Middletown or Old Saybrook.
