City of Middletown offers Recycling Workshop
On America Recycles Day, November 15
Managing waste and knowing what to recycle can be confusing. What goes in your recycling bin? What happens when you put the wrong item in the bin? What's the story with plastics? Do we really have a trash crisis? Should you be concerned? Get all your recycling and waste questions answered by the experts!
The City of Middletown is pleased to welcome Sherill Baldwin from the State Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to discuss all these questions and more at “What’s In, What’s Out: How to Reduce Waste and Recycle Right”, Tuesday, November 15 at 6:30 pm at the deKoven House Community Center, 27 Washington Street in Middletown.
Hot chocolate & dessert will be served. If possible, bring your own mug. This will be a zero waste event. Contact the City Recycling Coordinator at 860-638-4855 or kim.orourke@middletownct.gov for more information.
