Dear Recyclers,

I am pleased to announce a couple new resources available to businesses and contractors to help reduce waste in the State of Connecticut. I'm passing these on, in case you know of anyone who might be interested.

The Center for EcoTechnology has been contracted by CT DEEP to provide waste reduction solutions for CT businesses and institutions, which includes identifying waste prevention and reuse strategies, expanding recycling collection efforts and diverting food scraps. The service is available at no cost to business and institutions and provides a wide range of services. Contact 888-410-3827 or email https://www.centerforecotechnology.org/contact-us/ for more information.

The Center for EcoTechnology is also hosting a free webinar on deconstruction best practices and homeowner incentives in CT on Tuesday, March 29, from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. Experts in green demolition will present how waste reduction and deconstruction practices can be integrated into projects and applied on-site. Please share this with any contractor friends who might be interested in learning more. Registration is available here: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_ohi20QUHTgWd_2FjxbnVLg

Thank you and keep on reducing, reusing, refilling and rethinking your waste!
