Join UConn Master Composters, Allie McConnell and Baker Salsbury, for a lively discussion about Backyard Composting at the new Middletown Composting Demonstration Garden at 131 River Road, in Middletown, on Sunday, Oct. 15, from 12:00 - 3:00 PM.    

The Uconn Master Composters will answer questions and discuss the different types of composting bins on site at the demonstration garden.  Free kitchen scrap collection containers will be available for Middletown participants.  

 All are welcome. This program is organized by the City Public Works Department in advance of the RiverCog Backyard Compost Bin and Rain Barrel Sale.  More information on the sale can be found at:  https://connecticut.compostersale.com/.    Contact the City Recycling Coordinator at Recycling@MiddletownCT.Gov or 860-638-4855 if you have questions.
