In 2005, the City received 256 acres of open space land previously associated with Connecticut Valley Hospital.
The five properties located in the Maromas region of Middletown provide a unique opportunity for Middletown to enhance a large area of open space for recreational opportunities for Middletown's residents. The Department of Planning, Conservation and Development is conducting a land use study to help shape the future of this valuable resource.
