COVID-19 UPDATE
Parks, Trails and Tennis Courts are open dawn to dusk.
Come and enjoy!

Teams must submit a return-to-play plan to the Health Department for approval.

Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome in our parks, but must be on a leash at all times. Dog owners must also clean up after their dogs. Dogs also aren’t allowed on any ball fields or on the beach at the lake.

Inclement Weather
When inclement weather occurs, either the day before, or the day of your event, please call 860-638-4529 for field and event cancellations. To hear cancellation announcements, you may begin calling after 3 p.m, Monday through Friday. Weekend cancellation announcements may begin as early as 6:30 a.m. for morning games and updated, during the day, if needed.
League Schedule Approvals
All Middletown schools and sports leagues must submit their schedules to the Department for approval and reservations, prior to any teams use of our facilities.
Signs are no longer allowed to be posted in Middletown's Parks, as directed by the Parks and Recreation Commission.
Report Vandalism
Notice: If any citizen witnesses an act of vandalism, such as; damage to buildings, graffiti painting, vehicles tearing up a park, please notify the Middletown Police Department immediately. Thanks for your help.
