The mission of the City of Middletown Office of Emergency Management is to serve the citizens of Middletown through effective planning for natural and man-made disasters. This is accomplished through coordination, planning, training and exercising, for "all hazards" through all four phases of emergency management - preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation.
Our goal is to save lives and to protect property through coordination of an integrated emergency management system with all emergency response organizations, support services and volunteers. We promote greater community involvement, including educating the general public to mitigate and prepare for potential emergencies.
