Tax Payments and Sanitation Payments

The City of Middletown has partnered with Point and Pay, LLC, to accept credit card payments online or via telephone at 844-462-1019. Look up by name, bill number or by Unique identification and PAY YOUR BILL ONLINE.

You will receive Motor Vehicle clearance for DMV after FOUR business days for charge card payments only.

PLEASE DO NOT PAY YOUR BILL ONLINE IF DMV CLEARANCE IS NEEDED IMMEDIATELY (OVERNIGHT) FOR REGISTRATION.

With this service, taxpayers can look up and pay bills online for current taxes, delinquent taxes, or sanitation charges.

Fees for Online Tax Payments

Credit Cards: You will be charged a convenience fee of 2.5% if a credit card is used as the payment method, with a minimum charge of $2.00.

Visa Debit Card: You will be charged a flat fee of $3.95 if a Visa debit card is used as the payment method.  To pay with a Visa debit card, you must change the payment method from Credit Card to Debit Card as shown in the image below.

Electronic Check: You will be charged a flat fee of $2.00 if an electronic check is used as the payment method. DMV Clearance will not be available for 21 days or unless a copy of the cancelled check or mini-statement from the bank is provided to the Tax Collector’s Office,  indicating the check has cleared. To pay with an electronic check, you must change the payment method from Credit Card to Electronic Check AS SAMPLE SHOWN in the image below.
